Doodled Bible verses + 12-12-12 + Translation

We’re trying to bring the Bible to the Ehty people of South Asia so that they can also receive encouragement from God’s Word on a daily basis! Thanks to my friend Rita Clawson for her guest doodles today – and tomorrow! Rita has supported YEAR 27 from the beginning and I am always excited to feature her on the blog. The Ehty people are going to have the opportunity to hear God’s Word for the first time in their own heart language through what we are doing here at YEAR 27. Our goal is to translate the equivalent of the book of John into their language. $26 will translate one verse of scripture and John has 879 verses! Let’s do this.

Today’s verse was the theme of last week’s VBS at Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Ore City, Texas. The cool kids from VBS donated $505 to Bible translation for the Ehty people! During VBS, the kiddos learned about a people group who does not have the Bible in their own heart language. I am blown away by their heart for others and how they were moved to share their own resources so that others could hear God’s Word. Please join me in a huge shout out to this church, these kids and their heart to see people know Jesus as their Lord and Savior!
