Guest Post: Zephaniah 3:17

Today’s guest post is by Emily Knighton. I first met Emily when she was a student at Baylor University. I’ve always enjoyed seeing her design work. A year or so after I met Emily, my husband and I moved to a different city and Emily moved into my position at the Waco Chamber in Waco, Texas. She loves Jesus and it is a joy to see her using her talents for the Lord!

From Emily: “I love this verse. I used to lead a K-Life (sort of like YoungLife) small group of girls and this was the verse I said to them, gave to them, prayed over them all the time. I love the warm fuzzies that I feel when I think of the Lord Delighting and Rejoicing over me, with music no less! Glad I could help, and good luck with the rest of Year 27!”

John 13:35

You can expect lots more from the book of John. This is what we are studying in my community Bible study and that’s the goal: to translate all 879 verses of the book of John into the language of the Ehty people! Let’s do this!!

John 13:34

Today’s verse has been several days in the making! I’m back to Spearfish (was in Texas!) and excited to move into our new house this week.

I posted an “teaser” this morning. The first person to accurately guess what verse I was going to post would win a print of that verse! Well, I actually have three winners: one from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Thank you @thebensteele, @kristenritch and Jerrie Reynolds! (I need all of your addresses!)
