Skeptical local leaders recently summoned translator Sujan to explain about the Bible translation and literacy work. Sujan could readily identify with the apostle Paul in Acts chapter 17 as he confronted idol worshippers in Athens. The Ehty people also have idols.
Like Paul before the elders in Athens, Sujan answered politely when the leaders insulted him and asked provoking questions. He’s determined to be bold in sharing the Good News in any situation. He reasons gently but firmly as he testifies to God’s love.
